Comment Replying

  Someone has posted a comment to my blog, asking a question. I do not see an option to “reply” to that comment, only an option to post a comment of my own (which I did). So my question is: is there a way within WordPress (other than direct email, I mean) to reply to a comment so that the commenter is notified of a response? Or is it up to commenters to check back in and see what’s new? Thanks.

  so far it is up to the reader to check back. you can however, write on your own and respond via email. if you don’t like adding more comments as a way of replying comments, you can edit the comment itself and insert your reply there (bold your reply for clarity). however that does not notify the reader of your reply.

  I always send a copy of my response via email as well. That way they see it. I know you mention it but it is done.
