Comment response inquiry

  Hi alll..I was wondering, is there a way I can set it up so people I respond to in my comment sections receive an email alerting them to it, possibly with the response in it? My blog is at http://lisamichele.wordpress.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Settings–>Discussion Then check the tabs email me when…

  They have that option now. If they don’t select it when they comment, they won’t get those emails. There is no way to force-send those emails except to email them by hand.

  Right below the comment box you’ll see this line:

  Notify me of follow-up comments via email.

  Thanks all :) I wish it could auto email responses, but I suppose that comes with an upgrade.

  No, it doesn’t.

  As a frequent blog commenter, I’d HATE this to be forced on me. If I want emails, I’ll sign up for emails.
