Comment search stopped working

  I just noticed over the last few days that the comment search function has stopped working. Whether I search for a term, user, IP or email – in all, pending, approved or spam, the result is the same: “no results found”.

  I’ve tested by searching for terms that are plentiful among the comment threads. My own username returns a “no results found” result.

  The blog is almost two years old and there are over 50,000 comments on about 450 posts. Has my blog merely hit some sort of invisibile ceiling and I can no longer search comments or is this a documented WordPress issue and I just didn’t get the news?

  I have just noticed this as well – probably the result of an “enhancement” that has gone wrong!

  Comment search should be working again. Let us know if it isn’t.

  Many thanks – all is now well.

  I hadn’t realised how much I used it until it stopped working.
