  For some reason I am unable to add a comment box to my static home page.. I have followed multiple tutorials and none of them worked for me. I can build a page and add a comment box to it without problem, but once I set this page to be my static home page, the layout changes and the comment box goes away. Is there a way for me to fix this or is it possibly something to do with the theme I selected?

  hi,

  I tested Lodestar theme on my blog and confirm that the home page does not allow comments.
  I tested my blog with the Intergalatic 2 theme and the home page does allow comments.
  So, this is a design of the Lodestar theme.
