Comment section below new post is not showing up and I have tried everything

For whatever reason when I post a new blog, there are is no place for a reply or comment under the NEW post. I have gone into settings and it is checked. I have read every blog and cannot find an answer. am using Free Hemingway… ritamayell.com
Thanks for any help. I have only done this for two days and have read everything and cannot figure this out including every forum.

Hi,
To see the comments, you need to go to the single view of the post by clicking the title of the post.
For example, clicking the title “Happy Birthday….” will open up this link:
http://ritamayell.com/2014/11/04/happy-birthday/
Scroll to the bottom and you will see the comments and comment box.Hope that clears it up for you!

So if anyone just opens the home page without clicking the title there will be no comments? Ok, please forgive my ignorance but do all bloggers know this? In other words is this the norm? It does work and I read everything. Thanks in advance

You can also click on the number of comments to get to the comments. In your “Happy Birthday” post, clicking the words “3 comments” will open the comments section.
