Comment section default text heading
-
Hi,
Some time ago I changed my comment section heading to something other than the default ‘Comment here” or whatever it was.
I wanted to change it again and now can’t for the life of me find out how I did it before.
Hopefully it’s just me not seeing it.
Thanks for any help in advance. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi o4fswrite,
To change the “prompt” you need to go to the traditional “wp-admin” dashboard.
Open a browser tab and enter the following URL:
https://thebryntinproject.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.phpScroll right down to the bottom of the page and you will see the option to change the “prompt”.
Hope it helps.

Thanks, that’s where I thought I’d seen it before but it’s not there now… should be a link to screen shot attached..

Hi o4fswrite,
According to this thread, apparently the option to change “comment prompt” is being phased out for newer accounts.
Is your account a new OR old one?

Hi,
This blog has been going since September and I must have changed the prompt from the default some time not too long after so I guess it can’t be too new for it.
I changed the theme two weeks ago, changing the prompt was another part of my ongoing refresh and I suddenly couldn’t see where I had done it before.
Thanks for your time with this issue mkb11.

Hi there,
When I go to https://thebryntinproject.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php I can see the option to update the prompt, but that may be because of my staff account. Can’t say that I will always be able to do this, but let me know what you want in the prompt, and I’d be happy to update it for you.
Thanks!
