Comment site preview
-
I’ve got a question about site previews.
I left a comment on a blog last night. I’ve noticed that the three other commentors, when you put your mouse over their names, pops up a preview box for their site. My comment, however, shows no link/preview and is merely a static black name.
How do I enable a preview of my blog so that others can have it pop up?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

> Appearance> Extras
tick ___ Enable mShots site previews on this blog
click “Update Extras” -
timethief,
thanks for the quick reply. I read through the support section about that and did click the enable mshots option and update. I also cleared the cache/cookies and restarted.
Even after undertaking those things I still have only a blank plain name while others have the preview pop up.
Does word press just not like me? :)

Where specifically are you seeing only a link to your name?
On one hand, you have enabled mShots (actually it’s enabled by default on wordpress.com blogs) on your own blog. On the other, I immediately disabled mshots on my wordpress.com blog, so no matter how many times you leave a comment on my blog there will be no annoying pop-up. Could this be what you are describing?

On second thought (after coffee), it seems very odd that there were mShots pop-ups for the other commenters and not for your username, because your username is linked to your blog. I don’t get it. I think you may have to ask Staff about it.
