Comment sort order appears to be broken
-
A blog entry I wrote a while back (http://nuxref.com/2014/04/22/configuring-a-secure-mail-server-on-centos-6/) does not correctly sort the comments in the order they were created. Specifically the last comment made on Oct 20th 2014, is placed before the comment created on the 19th instead of being placed after it (like the others did).
I should add that I did remove 2 comments
beforethe comment on the 20th was made incase that helps isolate the problem. I would have still expected everything to be listed cronologically though. Thoughts and/or Advice? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry about the markup on the word ”before” i didn’t realize using the backtick would cause a formatting change until after I submitted the comment. I can’t edit the original message (to swap the bticks with quotes); but feel free to do so in efforts to make the question a little easier to understand if you want.

Hey Chris,
Unfortunately, the comment deletion did cause the issue. There isn’t a way we can reorder your comments, due to the conflict between the missing parent comments, and their dependent children.
I have made a note to our developers that this is an issue for you. However, I do apologize that at this current time, there isn’t a fix, and for the time being, it will happen again if you delete parent comments with child comments.
Thanks much for bringing this issue to our attention.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

It’s not really a big concern of mine to be honest; but i’m glad it’s been acknowledged. That’s all I really wanted :). I’m in no rush for a fix; but will look forward to it when it arrives!

Thanks for your patience and your nice note! It was good to have that issue brought to our attention! All the best.
