Comment specific email notifications

  There is no way to get email notifications for a reply to my comment on a blog post.

  Say, I left a comment on a popular blog post with 100s of comments.

  I want to know if someone specifically comment on my comment.

  no way to get this notification.

  Only available option is to get an email for each and every comment anywhere in the comments.

  Utterly useless.

  I am wondering if this is intentional, or, as seems likely an Commission by error

  Hi there,

  There is definitely an option to enable comment reply notifications on someone else’s blog. You go to WordPress.com/me > Notifications Settings > Comments

  https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/comments

  There is an option to check the box next to Replies to my comments

  

  It’s already enabled under your account, so you should be receiving comment reply notifications.

  many thanks. Not sure why it does not work for me.

  I will investigate, I guess I am subscribing without being logged on??

  Because it is marked already in my account settings, yet I do not have the option in fact…..

  Could you let us know which site/post you’re working with? If it’s hosted here we may be able to check your comment notification settings.
