Why does "Most Commented" not display the correct post?

  I love the new comment stats feature, but it doesn’t seem to be working correctly on my blog. It looks like it’s pulling from the last three months, as I believe it’s supposed to, for Top Commenters, but the Most Commented posts seem to come from the whole life of the blog. (The most commented post is from 2008.)

  Hi there,

  When I visit your Site Stats page, the post that shows up as the “Most Commented” is from 2008—”The Beatles (Audio) and a BAFAB Giveaway.” Is this the correct post?

  If so, can you let me know what post you’re seeing instead? If you’re able to provide a screenshot of how your “Most Commented” appears, that might be helpful as well.

  That is the post that is showing up, but my understanding was that the listed posts should all be from the last three months, since I’ve had over 1000 comments.

  The posts listed in “Most Commented” are pulled from all of your posts. Similarly, “Top Recent Commenters” pulls from all of your most active commenters.

  I hope this clarifies things. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
