Comment Subscriber is Receiving Four Copies of Every Comment

Hi folks,
An email notification subscriber to my blog is reporting receiving 4 copies of every comment on the blog. He has asked to be removed from receiving email comments. Is there a way to remove him?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t do it for him, but if he goes to the “following” page (linked below) while logged into WordPress he can unsubscribe himself.

He just has to find your site on the list of blogs he’s following and click the “edit” link. That should take care of it.
Are all of your followers getting multiple copies of comments or just the one guy?

Cool. Just wanted to be sure we didn’t need to dig into *why* he was getting the comments 4 times. If just one person is reporting the problem this issue is more likely connected to his set up than it is to yours.

Hi there, I just got a similar comment on one my blogs and I realized something I missed when we were talking–the “person” who complained about getting the comment 4 times was actually a spammer.
You can usually identify a spammer by a strange looking e-mail address or a username that is obviously selling something, but they get tricker all the time.
In other words, don’t follow my earlier advice, just ignore the request. There are a lot of spammers using comments about “just wanted you to know this thing is wrong with your site” emails/comments lately so if you get future “requests/feedback” like that be extra cautious.
