Comment via Facebook social plugin

Looking forward of having an option to let readers comment via Facebook social plugin instead of the one we have right now. Much better if we could also include Twitter and other sites supported by OpenID. Thanks!

I have had issues when dealing with OpenID — so many issues I no longer use it. You will find that there are restricted codes here at wordpress.com on this multiuser blogging platform and the software strips some codes out to preserve security as our blogs are not free-standing. They share the same underlying architecture and that means one incident of bad code could bring down many blogs. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
You will also find that Facebook frequently changes things at their end and when they do we have a slew of unhappy bloggers posting to this forum.

I’m also wondering if you aren’t ware of the differences between free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG installs for self hosting. There is no FTP access to free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM and we cannot upload any plugins into them.

Social sharing button is indeed a nifty feature and I’m using it myself but what I want is to allow readers of my blog to COMMENT via Facebook or other social networking sites. I am also aware of the difference between .com and .org WordPress. This is why I am suggesting to add this feature because I can’t install it myself. ;)
