  are there any themes that alolow comments in post to add picyure for free

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not that I know of but your users can link their photos hosted somewhere else like flickr, screencast etc and you as administrator can edit the post and download the image and embed them to that post.

  This is for security reasons I am told by somebody on these forums.

  As the Admin of a blog you can have your commenters submit comments with link to images in them. You can then moderate the comments and approve and post them. In addition there is the ability for comment embeds as well. http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/embeds/
