  Since yesterday, whenever I try to leave a comment on a blog, it doesn’t register.
  Any ideas why?

  Remember that sometimes people have their comment settings done in a way that they must approve comments before it shows up on their blog, so it’s possible that your comments are awaiting moderation/approval.
