commenting blogger not getting notified of my reply, who's settings

  I have a reader who commented on my blog post. She said that she is not getting notified of my reply even though I did reply and my reply is showing on my blog. She seems to think that I need to change my settings for her to her to get notified of my reply. I do not see anything in my settings that would cause her to not get a notification of my reply nor to I see anything that allows me to control her notifications. Please tell me if there is something I need to do on my end to help her receive notifications of replies on my blog.

  Hi Terri,

  The only related setting you can change on your blog is under Settings > Discussion in your WP Admin dashboard. You can enable the Follow Comments setting “Show a ‘follow comments” option in the comment form” to allow your readers to subscribe to notifications about new comments on the posts where they leave a comment. That setting is already enabled on your blog, so you’ve done everything you need to allow that to work.

  At this point, your follower is in full control of the notifications she receives. She can either subscribe to notifications on individual posts that she comments on (with that setting you enabled), or she can subscribe to notifications for all the comments on your blog.
