Commenting Bug

    I was logged into wordpress and I looked at my reader.

    I clicked onto a recently posted article.

    I read the article and scrolled down to make a comment.

    There was a form that I don’t normally see when logged in which asked for my email address, name and password, all of which I gave.

    I clicked post comment and was taken to a page that said

    “You are being asked to login because (email visible only to moderators and staff) is used by an account you are not logged into now.
    By logging in you’ll post the following comment to Taking Stock of the Trai Wreck that is My Current State!: “

    Although I would have thought I was still logged in, I entered my password and clicked “Log in.”

    I was taken back to the page on which I had been trying to post. The comment wasn’t posted, but the form asking for my email, name and password was gone.

    I typed some text in the comment box.

    The same form appeared.

    I filled out the form again.

    I was taken to the same page that said, “You are being asked to login because (email visible only to moderators and staff) is used by an account you are not logged into now.
    By logging in you’ll post the following comment to Taking Stock of the Trai Wreck that is My Current State!: ” to log in.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Howdy,

    Most commonly, we see this error if your browser isn’t accepting third-party cookies. You can visit our help doc here ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/ ) which will show a green check with a notice saying that your browser is properly enabled in your browser.

    Can you check there and confirm your browser is accepting third-party cookies as expected?

    If it is and the problem continues, we might have a connectivity issue occurring between your computer and one of our datacenters that we can look into more in-depth.

    Thanks so much. I must have changed my privacy settings with intending to when I changed a couple of other settings.
