  Hi, I’m trying to let people comment on a page. Is this possible if it’s not the home page?

  Hi folks,

  The document suggested by @dave2swords does not address the issue of allowing visitors to comment on a page. See instead the following support page: Enable and Disable Comments for Published Posts and Pages. It used to be possible to enable comments for all future pages, but some time ago WordPress.com changed that policy and now requires the appropriate setting to be manually checked on each new page.
