Commenting on non-Word Press blogs

When I type in my username and click publish, the comment seems to disappear and not register. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Olga

Know that we cannot help with any site that is not hosted by wordpress.COM. Your login information will only apply to sites hosted by wordpress.COM where comments are enabled. It does not apply to wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Never submit generic comments like excellent post. Know that if you do not refer to the post content in a comment box, and do not add anything meaningful to the discussion or add to knowledge of the subject matter, your comments can be considered as spam.
What you can do if you think it applies is to complete and submit this form https://akismet.com/contact/ to contact Akismet Staff, and select: I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake.
If you are referring to sites hosted by Blogger there can be issues with posting comments on them too but we cannot help you with them.
