Commenting on other WordPress Blogs

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been unable to comment on other people’s blogs. I leave the comment, I click submit, then the page refreshes but my comment isn’t there. At first I thought it was a temporary blip but I tried again today and it’s still the same (switching browsers doesn’t make a difference) It doesn’t affect my own blog, I can reply to comments left on my own posts. I can also still like other people’s wordpress posts but that’s all. Could you tell me what’s going on please?

(On a side note, posting the same topic several times actually makes Akismet think you are a spammer, so it’s best not to do that. I saw the other threads that you started and deleted them since they are duplicates.)

Thanks, I didn’t mean to spam the comments section. I wasn’t sure the other ones were even showing up because of the Topic Closed message. I submitted the details to Akismet earlier this afternoon
