commenting on wordpress blogs

    I currently blog using wordpress.org. When I try to leave comments on wordpress.com blogs, I get a message saying I can’t leave one because I’m not logged in to wordpress.com. I don’t want to login to wordpress.com because I have made the switch. Is there some way to turn this off, and allow me to leave comments without the extra step of logging in to an account I no longer use?

    We made a change a while back to combat impersonation. The change requires you to log in if you are commenting with an email address attached to a WordPress.com account.

    If you have another email address not attached to a WordPress.com account, you could try that.
