commenting on wordpress blogs

  Suddenly when I comment on blogs I have followed for years I am showing up as ‘anonymous’ rather than my normal user name. Also as a ‘suspicious website’. What gives?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I came up as Anonymous – about 14 comments up from the last. The problem seems to be spreading.

  Interesting, in all cases, the blogger did not fill in the Name field, which is not required.

  Are you sure they’re filling that out?

  Put a check in “Comment author must fill out name and email” (this is usually checked by default).

  Then test for a few more days to see if the issues come back.
