Commenting problem

  Hello,
  I’m looking for some blog help! Apparently people have been trying to comment on my blog, but the site won’t let them.
  Here’s the most recent email I received explaining:
  Everytime I try to comment on your blog, I get an error message and your site freezes up.

  How do I fix this?!

  I just left a comment without any problems. If that is the only commenter with issues, I suspect the issue is with his/her browser or Internet connection.

  Alright this person trying to comment is still having issues
  Most recent email says that when they try to comment, the page freezes up and says it cannot be loaded.

  Is there anything I can do?!

  Yes, it can make a difference. If that is the only commenter with issues, than it is not a wordpress problem, but a computer/browser problem.

  As husdal says your commenter has problems at his/her end of things. They may be fixed by using these troubleshooting techniques that all bloggers ought to be aware of http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ But the bottom line is that this isn’t a wordpress.com problem.

  I also have a reader who cannot comment on my blog. She’s using a mac (probably an older version the OS since I think her computer is older) and I think firefox. but maybe safari and uses comcast for an isp.

  I’ve changed settings, disabled plugins and changed themes but it still doesn’t work for her. The site loads slowly for her and when she tries to comment the comment box never loads.

  It’s a shame since she was my most loyal reader & commenter.

  ll bloggers ought to be aware of browser issues and how to deal with them. Has your person who cannot comment taken these steps to force refresh her browser and clear her cache and cookies or not?http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ But the bottom line is that browser issues are not a wordpress.com problem.
