Commenting problem

  I have been experiencing problems with commenting on blogs/posts.
  Specifically, when I begin typing in their comment box, the blinking line freezes after about 10 words have been typed. Then the whole page will freeze and I will have to click out of the tab. No matter how many times I reload their page it happens again and again.
  What I tried to do, was type my comment response in a separate place (for example, in a word document) and copy and paste it into their comment box, however this also caused the page to freeze.

  Hi there. This sounds more like a browser issue than a site issue. Please make sure you are using one of the browsers listed here and that your browser is updated to the latest version: http://browsehappy.com/

  Additionally, try clearing your browser cache and cookies and make sure you have third-party cookies enabled. You can also check whether you have the same problem on a different browser.

  It might also be a good idea to make sure your flash player is updated:

  If none of that works, please provide the URL of a post where you’ve had trouble commenting.

  Hello,
  Thank you very much for your reply. Eventually we got it working (“we” as in I sat there while my boyfriend fixed it :P)- from now on I will have to use *gasp* Internet Explorer for my WordPress activities, as this is the only browser that allows me to comment. Strange.

  What browser do you normally use that gave you this problem? Use this link to get the precise version: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/

  I find it very strange that it would only work in IE, and no person should ever have to use that browser for any reason :)

  We can tag this for staff to investigate further, but then please provide that browser info.

  Normally I would use Google Chrome. I will check the website you have linked to me in the morning. Thanks!
