  Hi,

  I have attempted to leave couple of comments on wordpress blogs yesterday and they have disappeared. I wrote to support and received a reply that they were either sent to spam, or await moderation. It is not the moderation. Furthermore, that identified the problem, but didn’t solve it.
  Today I was leaving a comment on another blog, outside of wordpress, and the same thing again. I don’t know enough about this to understand what is going on. Is it related to my email? I don’t do any funny stuff on the net (outside of blogging like an idiot), don’t use free webmail, and am outstandingly nice in every way.
  Can someone help me with this?

  as staff said, it could either be spam or moderated. some blogs don’t indicate that comments are moderated so it may look like it vanished. try contacting the blogger letting them know you left a comment, so if they can’t find it then it must be caught by spam. otherwise, you can try leaving comments using another e-mail and see if the same thing happens. if it does, then it is most likely the comment is moderated.

  when you send a comment the comment doesnt get approved immediately. the blog owner has to moderate and determine wheter to accept the comment or not.so if the comment doesnt show up means the blogger either declines it or the spam filter did its job

  Thank you both for replying.
  I suppose it could be that sometimes it is not indicated if the comments are moderated, as I have come across before.

  I suppose the spam filetrs have a logic of their own and there isn’t much that can be done about it.
