Comments

Hey, I want to know if there is a way to hide comments, so that you have to click on “comments” to read them rather than having them listed automatically.
-
You DO have to click on Comments or the post title to read them. They don’t show on the main blog page.

No, I mean after you click on the post title, the comments are automatically listed beneath the post, is there any way to make it so that comments are only displayed on this page by clicking a specific comment button. For instance, you wouldn’t see the comments unless you wanted to. Am I making sense? lol

Yes you ARE making sense (don’t worry about that), that function is not currently available though. You could request it to WordPress, but apparently they are currently under construction. :) All the best. I once wished comments had a function like that too, so that’s my vote as well.

I have several posts with over a hundred comments. I have one with over a thousand. It would bring my blog to a complete halt. I can’t see WP.com enabling it, but you could request it via your Support button on monday during their office hours.

That would be a great feature because it takes a hell lot of time to load a page with a ton of comments.
