  Hi there,

  You’ll find the default comment settings for your site under Settings ->Discussion in the dashboard. Disable comments there, and they’ll be disabled automatically on every new post or page you publish.

  That won’t affect the posts and pages you have published already, though – for those, edit each post/page individually, and look for the Discussion tab in the editor sidebar on the right. There you’ll see a checkbox to disable commenting for each post/page.
