  every comment I’m leaving on blogs I follow disappears. After writing a comment second or third time it’s showing as posted, but when I come back to the website after a few minutes, the comment is gone. This is really irritating.

  Hi there,

  Can you give me links to a couple posts where you’ve left comments so I can take a look?

  One of three things can be happening here:

  1) You comments are getting caught in the spam filters.

  2) The site owner has comment moderation enabled, in which case your comment will only appear after the site owner approves it.

  3) The site owner is deleting your comments.

  If it’s 2 or 3, there’s nothing we can do here. Site owners have full control over comments on their site, and have the right to decide who they want to allow to leave comments.

  1. why? I’m a follower, and regular visitor
  2. shouldn’t there be an info about it, I’ve never noticed it
  3. I don’t think so, never leave offensive/stupid comments

  I had this problem before, blogging is based on commenting, so this is kind of obstacles are discouraging.

  Contact Us

  Select “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake” and then if possible, include a few links to posts where you’ve commented.

  Didn’t get any answer from Akismet, and another comment disappeared. They can’t fond misinformation post/comments, but have algorithm to target my comments?

  This is ridiculous, and very irritated, comments again disappeared on blogs I’m visiting daily 😒
