Comments are enabled by default on all posts and pages on all WordPress blogs just as they are on your blog when I visited it. Click the title of any post or page to locate the comment boxes.

Unless you use the P2 theme which is a Twitter-like theme, know that the front pages of our blogs “showcase content” and comments are collapsed on that page. You cannot change this. The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress. By clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

Imagine if you had a blog with over 860 posts like mine and had comments displaying below each post. The result would be an extraordinarily long page loading time ie. the blog would load like a proverbial pig in quicksand. Visitor tracking studies show people will not wait for blogs to load. If they haven’t loaded in 3 – 4 seconds time they click out.
