My daughter has been having a problem as a follower. I just got off the phone with her. She has been a follower of mine for some time but is not being notified of my posts. She was not notified by email of my last post, “A Pup…” She said she sees a tab that says, “Follow” I said you shouldn’t be seeing “follow” if you already follow. She said when she clicks the follow it says she’s already following. She is carried as a “follow” but not being notified. I told her I’d ask you to contact her. Can you help her? Her email is

The email address you’ve provided is not a registered user of WordPress.com, so she will still see the “Follow” options when visiting your site, because she only follows over email. All other readers not logged into WordPress.com will also still see the “Follow” option.
An email was sent to the address you provided for your new post “[New post] A Pup, from Sand to Sea”, however that email bounced from their email service because her email service recognized it as spam.
I’d recommend they also add WordPress.com and wp.com to their email whitelist to prevent that in the future.

I got this email from my daughter. I think she is not alone having trouble getting my blog post notifications. I told her to go to WordPress and register. Could you please email me exactly what you want me to forward to her?
Dad, I had been getting your blogs sent to my optimum inbox in the past, but somehow that stopped happening. it’s showing me things like e-commerce, no ads, space, upgrading, etc. I still don’t know how to create an account to get your blogs sent to my e-mail account. -
She doesn’t have to register to follow your blog. However, the emails we’re sending her with blog post notifications are being bounced by her email service.
She needs to add both WordPress.com and wp.com to the whitelist of her email service to make those bounces stop.
If she prefers to register an account, she can do that here:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/
However, for the notifications to work correctly I’d recommend her add those domains to her email whitelist (sometimes called things like an “Allowed Senders List” or “Allow Lost”) to her email service.
