  Hi
  I have tried a couple of times to post comments on other users’ blogs which invited comments – including a WP news update:

  but I keep getting messages telling me there was a problem with my comment and it could not be logged.
  This is puzzling. Is something wrong with my profile?

  Hi there,

  The message on the very bottom of the discussion says

  Comments are closed.

  It may happened that the other user closed the discussion while you were trying to post your comment.
