  I was messing around with settings and somehow I have it now when someone
  posts something on my work, instead of saying their screen name, it says ‘author.’
  I have no idea how to change it back, so any help would be nice.

  Dashboard, users, invite new, see if you invited anyone to be an author.

  Thanks…have looked at that page, didn’t see anything, BUT,
