  How do I disable comments on multiple posts simultaneously?

  Click on “My Site” “Settings” and “Discussion” top middle to see the various options you have for managing comments. As well as preventing comments on new posts I believe you can change the settings on “Automatically close comments on articles older than….” to zero days.
