    In a recent discussion with students, some complained that they did not like to have to click on their IE refresh button to see new comment posted on WordPress blog. Any suggestions how to correct this issue?

    Not really. There is no auto refresh for wordpress.COM sites. The thing is, people using Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari, and all other browsers have to do the same thing. It isn’t only IE.

    If you are talking about them navigating away from the page with comments and then coming back to it and having to refresh, that is an IE problem. MS, in an attempt to make IE look faster than it actually is, has set it up so that it tenaciously hangs on to cached pages and will use them even if the page you are visiting has new content since you visited it just a little while before.
