Comments on posts and pages are enabled by default on all WordPress blogs. However, you can enable and disable comments on WordPress.com blogs on this page Dashboard > Settings > Discussion
That is where you set up defaults for comments and other comment options http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

Thank you dear!
But I could not do what you said!
If you can keep me informed by email, I really appreciate it!
I liked the theme so much, but without comments I will not have to keep it!
Thank you! -

Hi @belario!
Can you tell me a little more about where you are expecting to see a comments section and not finding it?
I’ve just looked at the post you published, and there is a comment box at the very bottom of the page.
It says “Deixe uma resposta”, and has a box visitors can use to leave a comment :)

Hello .. Good evening!
I discovered what is happening here, I just do not have the solution.
If I view the post by the reader and then go to the blog I’ll look at the comments box.
Plus your view the blog by my site by clicking on the blog icon there have to click either the title of the post or the date of publication to appear the comment box!
Only a visitor will not know that they have to click there to leave a comment!
There is no place written commentary here or something!

Hi @belario
I understand now, thank you.
The front page of your site will not show a comment box for blog posts – it is built that way on purpose.
If the front page had blog post comments, it would become very hard to get to the next post as the comments appeared.
Most people will be looking directly at your posts, and not reading everything on your home page, so they’ll see the comment box in the right places :)

Hello dear Goodnight!
I know that!
The problem is not having a text saying: comment here!
Thanks!!!! -

Correct – the front page on Scratchpad will not have a ‘comment here’ link, it isn’t built that way :)
A couple of things to consider:
Most people will land on specific posts, either from social media links or search results.
Your home page is important, but it isn’t the main place the people do a lot of the actual reading. That tends to happen on the posts themselves where there’s a comment box.
If you’re worried someone will find their way to your home page and then not know to click into a new post, you can add a More Tag to the posts so they need to click through to finish reading. Then when they get to the end of the post the comment form will be there waiting for them :)
