I’m trying to comment on other blogs, but every time, the comment won’t show, and when I try to re-submit it, I get the ‘duplicate comment’ error. Yet, my comment isn’t there.

Each site owner has full control over which comments they choose to display and moderate on their own sites. Have you been in touch with the site owner about this? They may have a contact form on the blog.
Otherwise, please share the site url here so I can take a look and see if you are being caught in the spam filter.

The most recent comment you tried to leave on February 7th was caught by our spam filter. The site owner can see that in their comments moderation queue under Spam.
Your most recent comment on January 27th was approved.Your most recent comment from January 27th is also posted on this site. There are no comments caught by our spam filter here.

There are 3 comments in the spam filter from February 6th -12th. This blog owner can choose to leave them there, trash or approve them from the comments queue.

Again, there are a number of published comments from January. There are 2 comments from February 4th – 9th that were caught in the spam filter.
You’ll be less likely to get flagged by spam by excluding any links in your comments. Each blog can set it’s own spam threshold but this will help.
