  A few people have emailed me that they can’t post comments. I have checked all my settings and don’t see a problem. Is there a page to walk them through the process?

  There is no problem than I can detect. Is this related to a specific post or all of them? Could this be a browser issue on the comment’s author side?

  All posts. I’m told they can type the comment but when they hit the post button,
  nothing happens and the comment doesn’t show up on the blog.

  Check your spam comments after they post. It sounds like they might be winding up there.

  They don’t show up there either. I’m told they just can’t post a comment, almost like a dead link or something.

  Can you tell us which browser (and version of) they’re using?

  Most are using IE 7 and one is using Firefox.

  That’s rather odd. I’d almost understand problems like this from IE 7, it is a rather outdated browser, but not usually Firefox. Do you know which version of Firefox they’re running?

  I was told it was the Beta version?

  The could very well be the problem, especially if it’s an old beta version. Beta versions are designed for testing, as they may not work properly with everything.
