  I’m trying to enable comments I have everything checked in the discussion settings, default article settings area and still comments are not enabled. what am I missing?

  the blog I need help with is halfthewomantwicethelife.com no wordpress.com. No idea how to deal with this dilemma either but I’m more interested in the comment question

  These are the WordPress.com forums and that site is self-hosted using the WordPress.org software. The best place for help is https://wordpress.org/support/

  PS: You do have comments enabled on that site already. If I click on the heading “If I Can Shrink So Can You!” on your home page there is a comment box at the bottom. You’ll need to read up on how your theme displays posts. When you add more content and maybe things will become clearer.

  just checked on a different computer and still no comment section for readers to comment.
