  I am trying to post a comment on braintacos.wordpress.com but it keeps saying its awaiting modification
  What do I need to do for it to be posted?

  Hi there,

  Sorry, do you mean “awaiting moderation”? Cause if this is the case, it means the blog owner(in this case you) has set the comments such to be approved before published (that lets you know your comment has been received but it will not be displayed until someone approves it). Have a look at the relevant support guide about Comment Moderation:
