  There is nowhere for people to leave a comment on my latest post

  Hi there,

  I see what you mean. It’s there on previous posts, but not on this newest one…

  Have you checked to make sure the comment option is enabled for that most recent post?

  You can check this by choosing to “Edit” your post, then on the top right you should see the option for “Post Settings.” From that menu, select “More Options” and scroll down to “Discussion.” You’ll see a checkbox there to “Allow Comments.”

  There are also some additional display options for those comments. You can find a Support page on it here.

  You can enable and disable comments on WordPress.com blogs on this page Dashboard > Settings > Discussion
  That is where you set up defaults for comments and other comment options http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/

  Thank you so much.
  I did as you suggested and it worked.
  Will I have to do that every time I post?
  I didn’t need to before, and my comment
  option is enabled.
