  Hey All! I’ve been trying to disable comments for a specific post for like the last 30 minutes. I’m following the normal protocol, but its not working. I unchecked the “Discussion” and “Comments” boxes in the screen option. However, when I check the post, the comment option is still available. Any suggestions?   In short:
  If you tried to disable commenting and couldn’t, then you either tried it in Settings>Discussion (works for future posts only, not already published ones), or you tried it in the Discussion module of the post editor but didn’t uncheck “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks” as well.
