  Thank you! But isn’t this supposed to be part of the WordPress package? And I thought I had it on…but it seems to have disappeared.

  Comment section is appearing on your latest post:
  https://janegoesbacktoschool.org/2018/08/20/is-history-marxist/#more-111

  For every blog post you create, you can choose if you want to provide comment section or not. You will find this option on the right side of blog edit page in More Options
