  How to I turn on comments for just 1 blog post? I can’t see it anywhere on the dashboard.

  You can change the commenting option on each individual post — so if you’ve set the default to the blog to not allow comments, you can still change that on each individual post to allow comments on that post if you want.

  If you’re using the new editor, the option is under “more options” in the right-hand sidebar when you’re editing a post; if you using /wp-admin, then the option is in the Discussion section under the post content block.
