  There’s a part on my blog for comments but there’s no comment box. I’ve been looking on how to get the comment box and screen options and settings shows it should be working. I don’t know if the Twenty seventeen theme I have is the problem. Thanks

  That site has two posts so far. Clicking on a post title such as https://blondanimalsthetahoechef.com/2019/01/09/favorites-faith-family-love/ is how you reach the comment box. How visible where to posts comments is does depend on the theme. Perhaps when you have a comment posted there may well be a “1 comment” link by the post title.
