  Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way in our settings to have it so that comments can turn off automatically after one week of a post being up? Or can we manually turn off comments post by post? Thank you.

  No.

  Yes. See the In a Post subsection of the Enable/Disable Comments section of the Comments support page.

  Thank you. I can’t seem to find out where the discussion section is to enable/disable comments?

  That’s understandable, the link “My Site → Site → Posts” in the subsection I sent you to incorrectly goes to another unrelated support page. We can skip an explanation of that path if you know how to open a post editor. The Discussion tab is at the bottom of the sidebar (or post settings menu) in the post editor.
