Comments always viewable after post?
-
I’d like comments made on my blog always viewable after each post. Are there restrictions on certain themes, or am I not seeing the correct place to make the option available?

It’s actually a setting on the backend. Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion -> Uncheck the “An administrator must always approve the comment” and “Comment author must have a previously approved comment” boxes. That should do it for you.
edit: Unless they’re being caught by Akismet or dropped into Moderation if there’s another issue.
Are you seeing something specific?

those settings are already unchecked, are visitors are able to view comments if they directly on the comments link. I want them to read the post and continue scrolling down to view all comments. Am I able to have comments viewable without a link to click?
such a snappy reply! thanks drmike!

Oh, I see what you mean. No, you would have to edit the themes to get the comments to display on the home page of the theme under the article. It’s pretty much standard for folsk to click on the comment link to leave on though.
{edit: I’m actually sitting here install an MySQL upgrade on my own servers. Not much to do but sit here and wait until it;’s done.}

What you want is view the post and their comments in the home/archive page? sorry but that isn’t possible with the current installed themes.
