Comments and Commented

On our dashboards I really would like to go back to the way it was before with the “comments” and “commented” links separate from each other. If I want to see the posts I have commented on, that’s readily available under the “My Comments” in the tool bar. It makes it too cluttered to have those mixed in with the list of who has commented my my posts.

I would suggest sending in a feedback as well with this suggestion. Be sure to include a link to this thread to show that we’ve discussed it so that staff can see how other users feel on teh subject.

Unlike barbarha, I didn’t like the first dashboard configuration and, I do find the new configuration to be more convenient. :)

We had a thread on the subject when it first came out (Busy trying to figure out why one of my own clients can’t reach his site so I can’t go digging) but it was like 70-30 against.

I recall it. I tried three quick and dirty forum searches but obviously I used the wrong key words as I came up with nada.

timethief, I wasn’t saying I wanted the whole dashboard to go back the way it was, just that I didn’t want my “commments” and “commented” links mixed in together. It doesn’t seem necessary to have the links to my comments on other people’s posts listed where it is anyway since it can be found under the “My comments” link (and I have never found either listing to be entirely accurate, anyway — it only lists a fraction of the comments I have made). But if it just has to be listed right out on the dashboard, it would be nice if they were separated.
