Comments and Likes

Just wondering, I’ve noticed that when I go to my page as a non-registered user, it makes me sign up for a WordPress account before I can like a blog post. Same with comments, those who comment already have WordPress. Is there a way I can open this up to readers who don’t have a WordPress account?

You have comments set so that someone who does not have an account can comment. Take a look when logged out to see! They can login using WordPress.com, or just enter an email address. That’s all set just fine.
Likes are a function of whatever site you’re on, be it this one or Facebook or Twitter or anything else. They’re a network specific function, so they require an account on each respective network. Users without an account do need to sign up to Like the post.
An option for non-Wordpress visitors might be to add ratings, and you can see that here:
