Can you help me?

    Hello there,
    I am trying to set up this blog/website and I am stuck, your help would be much appreciated.
    1. Comments on my pages. I have unclicked all options at all settings as per the support pages. But you can still comment on my pages. How can I enable that option please?
    2. I still have widgets on the right hand side of my blog. I want to remove them and switch them off. I have followed all your instructions on the support pages, but they are still there.

    1. Following the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/ you’ll need to individually enable/disable for all published pages and posts. If you don’t see the Discussion box when editing a page or post, check “Discussion” in the Screen Options tab near the top-right.

    2. When you remove all widgets, the theme takes over with its own default widgets. To override those, add a blank text widget to your sidebar.
