comments and pings

Hi All,
I’m using blogdesk to post in my WP account. However, for the last two postings, I found that -by default- the comments and pings function were closed (Set – off) eventhough I have tick the box (in blogdesk) to allow it. The problem is fixed by edit the posts manually from WP and set it to ‘allow’.I have try to use the ‘edit published posts’ function from blogdesk, tick the boxes again, and then re-upload it, but the same thing happens again. The comments and pings were closed.
Any idea what the problem was and how to fix it?. Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

btw, I have also sent a mail to blogdesk.org, but he has not come back to me yet. Hopefully you guys at WP knows what the problem was.

It’s resolved now. Here is the solution as I paste it from the mail which I received from the person who made Blogdesk (Johannes Opperman)
Ok, I just released a hotfix. Could you please download and install to see if everything works fine? You can find it here:
http://www.blogdesk.org/en/blogdesk-26-500-en.exe
After installing you have to open your blog properties and change the value in the ‘System’ dropdown from ‘WordPress’ to ‘WordPress.com’.
Now settings comments/pings should work like before.
