Comments appearing on my about page different than my home page

    I have allowed comments on both my about page and my home page but I noticed they appear differently and I am not sure how to change this. On my about page the comments automatically appear- I do not need to click on comments to see them whereas on my home page a reader would need to click on comments in order to view them. Is there a way I could change how the comments appear on my about page so that a reader would need to click on comments in order to see them?

    You’re comparing dissimilar things. Your home page is a dynamic page displaying your latest posts (without their comments). Your About page is a single complete static page, i.e. complete with its comments – just like a single complete post (you get to that by clicking on the title of the post, or via a link to it). You can’t change that.
